Police give fair warning of telephone scam
Significant Falls police said Thursday that con artists are using a call scams to bilk people through trust cards.
Detective Capt. James J. Mendonca said in a rumour release that in one variation, callers affectation as agents of a vacation society to tell people they have won a unconstrained trip.
The caller asks for the patsy’s credit-card integer along with the three-digit security orthodoxy, Mendonca reported.
