O.K., here’s my act with Twitter. Personally, I have a racking time doing anything in 140 characters or less. Dialect mayhap it’s a difference of the sexes attitude. Research tells us more men than women are on Snicker while the Facebook community (which offers rescue-flowing prose if you decide) is heavier in estrogen. No dumbfound there really. Men tend to be bottom-liners and women seem to from talking about their experiences more.
As a marketing woman, I know Twitter works famed as a traffic-driving shape for lots of restaurants and retail stores (online and off), including Birds Barbershop , which is one of the unoriginal businesses in Austin that audibly knows what it’s doing on Giggle. Last week it was raining (a proportionate oddity here), and business was a little easy, so Ashley Cass, who manages Birds’ societal media, posted a three-hour, 25-percent fall discount at one of the Austin locations and got lots of takers in a wink. Whole Foods , another Austin troop, is great at engaging its customers (two million Snicker followers), listening to and answering their questions in 140 keystrokes.
