As Facebook continues its strut toward global dominance, however, it is running into roadblocks here and there.Unerring countries — including Facebook's residency, the U.S. — are concerned about clandestineness issues. These two colliding climates supply a perfect hardiness zone on the Internet in which other countries' by birth social networking sites can fructify.
Because Facebook is blocked by the Chinese management, says Silicon Valley Web strategist Jeremiah Owyang, the put has been rendered "irrelevant" in mainland China — giving alternatives dwelling to flourish. In fact, "China hosts the largest Internet community online," he explains, "and they developed their own tools."
